Offensive and Defensive Camp for 1st thru 8th Graders
COMMITMENT
Who will coach?
The camp will be coached by Bentworth Head Coach Randy Walters and his staff.
Coach Walters has over 20 years of experience coaching at the college and high school levels.
As a player in Canada, Coach Walters competed in two National Championship games, winning the 1984 National College Championship as the starting quarterback at The University of Guelph.
We will also have current and former
Bentworth Bearcat players assisting in the instruction of your child. PRIDE We will stress the fundamentals of
offensive and defensive football. Your child, regardless of position,
will be exposed to proper techniques and terminology of the Bentworth Bearcats
Football Program on both sides of the ball. We will also have time
allotted for 7 on 7 drills, which will emulate game situations. Each child will receive a T-shirt
and there will be a pizza party on the last day of camp. Participants will be divided into groups and work with the
Bentworth High School Football players under the direct supervision of Coach
Walters and his staff. Participants will spend 2 evenings working on defensive
skills and two evenings working on offensive skills. Camp will be held June 23-26, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM each
evening. Camp is open to any student in 1st thru 8th
grades. Those who attend camp will receive a T-shirt. There will be a pizza party held on the last evening of
camp. Who Should Attend The football camp is designed for
students in grades 1 thru 8. Location Bearcat Football Stadium 4 Oak

be held at Bearcat Football Stadium....four evenings (Monday thru Thursday),
from 6:00 until 8:00 each evening.
What To Wear
You should dress in shorts and a t-shirt. Tennis shoes or
football cleats are acceptable.
Cost and Registration
Your registration must be
completed and mailed, along with your with payment in full, by June 2, 2008.
